Raging Heroes Exalted Ravager #3
Some months ago, those beauties from the Raging Heroes Kickstarter TGG2 dropped into my mailbox and I when I was putting them together, I was simply blown away. Such flimsy parts! And yet the resin was crisp and hard and it was a please to put those miniatures together. RH had the parts labeled, so I did not have to guess which part belongs where and it went really fast until those three Centaur Ladies stood before me.
And they struck me like when I saw the first concept pictures during the Kickstarter ... they blend beauty and evil and alien and lust and suffering like no other miniatures I know. Honestly, who got the idea of putting slave-bodies in place of the centaurs legs?! I'm drawn between stunning and revolting.

As I did want them to be outstanding in whatever place I use them, I sent them to a contracted painter (as with most of my stuff, you know it). This time though I went a little further, sending the trio to a professional painting studio: ClashTomized
And I'm so very pleased with their job! There are so many details everywhere, colour transitions, shadows, ... you get the point.

Slaanesh Obliterators
I wanted to add some Obliterators to my Chaos force and looked a while for alternatives to the original models (which haven't aged well ...).
The Skaven Stormfiends are a great point to start from. They're quite large and already come with a mutated look and even some weapons. So I got rid of the rat tails, added some armour parts and hid the faces behind masks (which are shoulder pads in the original set). Well yes, and I added some weapons here and there ...
I tried to theme the single models, so there's one with lots of weapons from the pointy eared inhabitants of the galaxy and another one took most of his arsenal from the ancient race of Terminators. The one armed with the 3 Assault Cannons had not much added, as those three cannons were already in the kit. As I said - perfect :)

Khorne Blood Slaughterer
The model's from the Forgeworld range and fits nicely into my shelf of "Walking Abominations of Chaos" ;)
I just like Walkers, so I own a few and the Blood Slaughterer had to be there as well.

I'm a big fan of the grimdark future created by the guys in Nottingham for over 2 decades now. I like the art and the fluff (fanmade or by Games Workshop themselves) to fully indulge into this universe.
As such, I do post some pictures of my miniatures. In the last years, I opted to only build them and let someone with higher skills paint most of my miniatures, as the building process is so much more fun for me :)

Apart from this, I'm out in the fields, trying to capture the beauty of nature and my two dogs on photographs, though there's much knowledge to be earned here :)
